I doubt we'll likely ever see another Time Crisis/Blue Estate/House of the Dead now that VR exists, and the most saturated game genre for VR are shooters of various kinds, which all emulate the same point and shoot experience of those lightgun games. There is an indy VR game called Crisis Vrigade, which is essentially Time Crisis in VR, and I'm sure I've seen some others that I can't think of their names.

Anyone currently using the light gun? Does it work Ok with 3D? What type of display are you using?

BTW, official statement is that the light gun is not compatible with LED projectors, just PJs with a normal lamp.

Broke out the Sega Menacer awhile back to play Ready, Aim, Tomatoes. Toejam and Earl with the grandson

House of the Dead Remake runs in Unity 2020 so I couldn't get it working in 3D. The Sinden light gun apparently works good with the early release of the game but the devs patched it and broke Sinden compatibility.
