Star Wars: Battlefront(2015) - fix is lost at geforce forum

Post by Rubini »

Hi mates,
I recently reinstalled SWBF1(2015) because I and some friends should like to play again some scenarios and also certain mechanics are better than SW BF2 for our taste.
That' s ok, i had not a 3D setup at that time, so i have not the official fix on Helix. The problem is that it is now lost on geforce forum.
Yesterday bo3b sent to me the FROSTBITE3 universal fix that works but the UI is not adjusted etc.
So, can somenone post here (or at Helix SWBF page) the correct fix by Helifax and DHR? This one:

StarWars Battlefront - Version 1.2 (LAST UPDATE: 14/12/2016)

Thanks by any help!

Does anyone have a solution to play it on Windows 10 or did a recent update break the fix?

It's mostly the UI that is broken, this is using DHRs Frostbyte Battlefront fix
https://helixmod.blogspot.com/2016/01/s ... t2015.html

A couple of weird things, V-Sync does not work, nor does the in game frame rate limiter, both do via the Nvidia Control Panel though.

Also for 2560x1440, borderless window is fine(no 3D), but fullscreen renders slightly larger cutting off part of the MSI overlay.

If the resolution and fullscreen is forced via 3DMigoto's d3dx.ini, the display area is correct.

BTW, is there even such a thing as stereoflagsdx10 = 0x00004008? Or is that a typo by DHR in his ini?
Searching existing profiles, that default setting does not exist. Nor is their any information for that setting on the Wiki

Edit: I have tried compatibility mode as W7 and 8, I've also tried disabling fullscreen optimizations, as well as a few other Nvidia game profiles.

and it is not due to compatibility mode, although it does look like it :P
