You have not played Mass Effect? All 3 games link to create a story arc that is one of the most intriguing and well done in the extensive library of games I have ever played. I have already played through each game twice, once as they were released and once as a continuous start-to-finish adventure. I am looking forward to a third visit to this incredible story...
Dual boot VR/3D Vision disk partitioning (multiple SSDs). 3D Vision - Windows 10 v1809, 425.31 driver, 32 GB, i9-9900X@4.5 GHz, hybrid-cooled 2080Ti, 4K LG E6 OLED TV with EDID. VR/geo-11 - 3080Ti with Vive Pro 2, also have Aero, wireless lens-modified Vive Pro, Index, Reverb G2, Pimax 8K.

What !!!
You should be locked out of this forum, until you have finished all three games !!

Lol - but seriously these games are some of the most important games of all times, and the are beautifull in 3D..

Can we expect true remastered versions or just Console "remastered" thats the question ?

4K, improved character models, NPCs, new effects, improved controls (particularly in ME 1) with full controller support, DX 11 while built on UE3, as with the original trilogy. Sounds like somewhere between "remaster" and "remake."

Using UE3 opens a big window for a fix, or at least that the old fixes could be workable.

The trilogy is easily among the top 3 rpgs of all time for me, together with witcher 3 and Skyrim, it was probably the last time Bioware did their magic before EA brought them to their knees. Besides, I only got to play ME3 in 3d, so I can't wait to hopefully play the full Remastered trilogy in 3d.

They need to add a FOV slider, then I'll be very happy :P

But yeah, this is awesome.

Let's just hope that they did not edit any of the character models to appease the SJW crowd.

They looked into moving the remasters to UE4 from UE3, now that would have been great for you guys (with the universal fix and for the graphics upgrade) - but they determined it was too much work.

Personally, I've only been impressed by the full remakes (obviously a ton more work is involved) as every "remaster" I've seen has just been minor improvements.

I've only ever completed ME1 and played the beginning of ME2, and I've been wanting to finish up the trilogy for years, so this presents the best opportunity for me to do so. Also considering that I'm probably the person with the most experience fixing DX11 UE3 games (KF2, Xcom 2, MKX, MK11, BL1), I think it's safe to say it's a perfect pairing, so count me in on this one.

That's amazing if you do have a look, even though I find myself playing more and more in 2d these days (please don't shoot me)!

What's funny is that I'm in the same position, in that I only ever finished ME1, then started ME2. Absolutely loved ME1 and by all accounts ME2 is even better.
I got to the nightclub in ME2 and was playing in 3d vision surround. The atmosphere, music and graphics have made just that particular memory one of my best gaming highlights.

Does it crash when starting in 2D?

If so, the problem is likely your Xbox controller. The first time you play the game (unless today's patch fixed the issue), you have to unplug the controller before launching the game, then plug it back in after you get to the main menu.

After that, you can launch the game with the controller plugged in without issue.

No idea then... I launched it without issue after the latest patch.

There are many possible causes... if you can give the community here your system spec's, 3D hardware, driver version, etc., there might be better help available that can help you zero-in on your particular issue/issues.

For reference - I am playing it on a rig that includes an i7 CPU/2070 GPU/3DV Driver 452.06/W10/ASUS VG248QE.

Got held up and just putting the finishing touches on another fix that I expect to be releasing later today and then I'll be getting started on this. I already have a framework ready for it from my previous fixes (and maybe another project or two that's been in the works!), so I don't expect it should be long before I have something functional together.

Wait... uhhhh. I don't know if that's wishful thinking, a good guess, or some little birdy's been chirping in your ear, but I guess since it's not a huge secret I will confirm that yes, my next release is going to be an almost pixel perfect remake of my fix for Ryse: Son of Rome. I also have created a new custom shader called 3D Zoom that is featured in this fix (and will be a great tool for myself, and hopefully others, in many more fixes to come!), which I'll be sharing more details thereof in the coming days. I also have new fixes for X-Com 2 / WotC & Chimera Squad at near completion, which since also being UE3 means these are also going to provide me with a solid base for ME:L and probably a general UE3 universal fix, which is actually a bit of a univeral UE3 + UE4 hybrid fix (not intended to replace Losti's UE4 fix, that's the true "universal" fix).

So yeah, just on the very last stretch of Ryse, with two minor conflicts to work out, and hopefully it'll be up before the day's over. (and I mean by the time the day is over for me... which might actually be early tomorrow morning for most)

Do you mean Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries?

If so, I just checked it - fix is still perfect - at least in the first area. Have to disable Fullscreen Optimizations for W10 and I ran it in W8 compatibility just to be on the safe side, but all is well.

Perhaps it will help for Days Gone as it's heaven broken and with a very old UE4 version (V4.11.1.0) and Losti's UE4 fix doesn't work at all with it.

I am, but don't worry, I'm cooling off for today! 8-)

This is kinda my pattern around here. I simply can't bring myself to work on fixes when regular life is in full swing. Especially for the past few years, where I went from being an IT support analyst, to a telecom technician, to becoming a construction labourer doing demoliton work. I progressively went from being a desk jockey to a literal work-horse, and when I'm working 44 hours of hard labour each week I don't think it's any surprise to anyone that I don't even have any time nor energy left in me to even play games, let alone work on fixes. Any time I've been able to have been active around here has been when I've been granted the opportunity to not have to work to sustain myself (ie. during seasonal layoffs, COVID lockdowns, etc). It usually takes me quite a bit of time to ramp up and get some motivation to get back into fixing and a bit of time getting reacclimated to the fixing META, so once I get started I usually try to make the most of it and squeeze out a couple quality releases while the juices are flowing, because I know when they stop it'll probably be a while before they get going again.

Hey DJ-RJ, it's great to see you exploiting to the max your bursts of energy and creativity, but even greater to see you prioritise your personal life consistently. Thank you for your 3D gifts, and good luck with whatever keeps you busy and interested. I played your first Ryse fix at release, it's a nice simple game already, but in 3D it's elevated to a great experience, as often the case. I'll give the new fix a go soon (3D TV OLED here) and will provide feedback.
Looking forward to Mass Effect Legendary fix, if it ever materialises (but not looking forward to paying EA yet again for these games, awesome as they are!).
