Is there work still going on on this?

Does it still look viable?

It would also be best to post suggestions/questions here:

https://github.com/bo3b/iZ3D/issues/1

That place is in sore need of additional developer/tinkerer input. Right now, Bo3b probably feels like he is doing it all alone and finds the lack of engagement demoralising/demotivating. Even moral support there would be nice... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hope all is well and folks are still excited about the possibilities. Playing around trying to figure out how to capture 3D gameplay I figured IZ3D would be a great place to start since I can record side by side with IZ3D. I haven't found an editing software that has the features I need, the 3D doesn't come in until about 30 sec. Only 4 1/2 minutes in length. Played on my old Win 7 PC with a 1070 and IZ3D. I tried the file on my 3DTV and also in VR with Skybox, I think as close as I'm going to get to capturing the real experience of the gameplay. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hynigdbqt3hbv ... D.mkv?dl=0

Hi everyone, what do I need to download to get started with this on my 3D DLP (checkerboard 3d)?

Thanks for the links DMan, I got an email about it and seems to be another interested coder interested in the github forum.

Greeting link2020 all you need is Windows 7 and the driver installation package. IZ3D does checkerboard but I'm unsure if it would be the best output method for you. Keep in mind the driver is a trial version but you can delete one folder and a registry key after the 30 day trial period to regain access.

I know that on some DLP 3D HDTVs, a desktop resolution of 1804x1014 had to be used with 3D Vision, since Checkerboard can not be scaled at all
or the format would break. I'm unsure if the same applied to iZ3D.
Interesting. I have DDD up and running but I can't get it to work either. I wonder if it is the resolution causing the issue.

3DNovice wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 4:13 pm I'm assuming that you have a HDMI 1.3 DLP 3D HDTV.

If it's a Mitsubishi, there is a compatibility patch that needs to be installed and a USB "1.0" thumb drive must be used
to enable Nvidia's 3D Vision. Verify the model number first. If by chance it is HDMI 1.4 3DTV Play has a Checkerboard mode that is accessed via a
drop down menu in the Nvidia Control Panel. As mentioned previously, the Nvidia emitter is required. Though it is possible to make a stand in module.
Rollermod11 posted instructions somewhere on the internet, if they still exist.

Checkerboard with TriDef, sorry, no idea. But be sure to try your glasses on upside down to make sure that it isn't an eye sync issue.
I actually got it working no problem with some DP Link glasses. The HDMI is 1.4 so there's no issues running 3D in 1080p.

IZ3d really needs Opengl support, i found this developer at github that has this opengl wrapper:

https://github.com/jtsiomb/stereowrap

i was not able to figure out how to make the installer, i think this is a linux-only program, but i think integrating this to iz3d in in some way might help big time

I hope this project can continue!

My only programming experience is with visual studio, vb.net in particular. My experience with C or C++ is zero, but it's never too late to learn. If I can help please let me know.

Thanks, Mark

Just tested with Dark Void and it still works perfect in Geo 3D 8)

Sadly, I can't make MaxPayne 3 working with Tridef. Tridef isn't loading with whatever dx version I put in option...

3DNovice wrote: Fri Mar 31, 2023 1:32 pm There's a thread where it's mentioned, that using TriDef on W10 may not work after upgrading to newer versions or if updates are installed.
But you can use Mod Organizer as a workaround, the poster is using it as an injector. There are likely some other injectors that would work as well.

Great, I make it works!
Only the shadows are busted in Dx9 & Dx11 mode but as in Dx11 mode all the other options including SSAO are working fine so it looks beautiful with shadows disable ;)
