3D scanning software

Hello dear community,
Is anyone here experienced in 3D scanning? I am working with Kinect for Windows v2 and my annual subscription to Artec Studio 13 has come to an end, so I am looking for similar software but free or with a long free trial period until my budget allows me to renew my subscription. I've heard that there are similar 3D scanning programs, but I can't find anything like that yet.
