The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III

Post by 3DNovice »

I just tried the demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and the 3D is perfect, excluding bloom issues in a few places.
It's reportedly using the Phyre Engine.
It's turned based combat, but has an option to have the game automate the combat

I'm pretty sure water is broken, just like in the other Trails of Cold Steel games.

I plan to buy (on GOG) and fix this game. Given the engine, it should be easy like the others.

With the current 25% discount, the price is acceptable for how long the game is. The problem is that to play this game I have to catch up on a lot of games. I was like 25% through the second Trails in the Sky. Then there's the third, and then the two Crossbell games (with fan translations). Officially I can't touch ToCS3 for a long while.

I was amazed at how good the Demo looked out of the box.\

32Hrs for the main story
100+ for extras

Yah, no hurry, good things come with time. I never even heard of this, until I saw the demo.
