Hack to Share Screen Between 2D & 3D Viewers

Our good friends at 3DVision-blog have developed a 2D hack for Nvidia's GeForce 3D Vision glasses.  Be warned that this will most likely void your warranty, but it's an interesting idea.



The idea is this.  One of the challenges behind 3D screens is that they are either in 2D mode or 3D mode - not both.  So if there are people in the room who want to watch in 2D (maybe they can't see in 3D), a doubled screen image will be a problem for them.  This hack allows the glasses to show only the left or right sided image, so the 3D viewers get their 3D experience, and the 2D viewers get their 2D experience.

I wonder if you could take this and use it for sports games while playing local multiplayer. This would be a great way to stop people from looking at your plays while playing Madden, and also would allow you to leave on your pitching cursor in MLB the Show.
