What does that even mean?
Thanks, that's a bunch of helpful info. The vertical convergence issue was that the Left eye was being shown about 50 pixels below the right eye. I patched my drivers using the fantastic automatic patcher, and was able to run in 3DTV Play without the vertical offset, however 3D TV play is locked to 1080/24p, and the drivers complain if I run games at 720/60 (by asking me to set to 720/60). I'll be reviewing the post you shared. Thanks!3DNovice wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 7:38 amWhat does that even mean?
Anyhow, try this post/thread, it may help.

Great news! So we have 3 ultimate projectors for 3D Vision now:puzzabug wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 8:11 pm I've got 1080p/120 working by following the fixes in that thread (although I had to find the downloads separately) - Optoma_UHD_40_DSR.zip installed with the cru-1.4.2.zip - restarted my computer, and now I've got 1 3D input and one 4k/60 input. Which is exactly what I hoped for when choosing the projecting. Thanks so much!!
UHD 30 und 42 are both available in Germany. So these must be different models. They differ 200€ in price. Not sure what the difference is except a slightly other lense. Both support 240hz. Seems not really worth paying the higher price for UHD 42.

The American model number seems to be UHD 50X.
Isn't that exactly why the OP created this thread, the answer is in the first post?
Hello Russel,
A 1080P@240 resolution already exists in the NVCP, under the "PC" resolutions. It comes in at 559.4400MHz, I'm not sure what fat they trimmed to reach this, HDMI 2.0 has a 600MHz limit. They may have trimmed the porches or lowered the color bit-rate, dunno.russellk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 02, 2020 6:35 am Thanks for posting and also confirming that the new UHD30 works. I believe the UHD30 is the EU version of the UHD50X, which supports 240hz input!
IF you have time, tt would be really interestring if you could try and create a custom resolution in the nvidia control panel of 1920x1080x240Hz and see if it works.
On the thread over at AVSFORUMS (https://www.avsforum.com/forum/68-digit ... tor-4.html) Mark Rejhon @ Blurbusters was really keen to get more information on how that mode looks as well.
I have the same exact projector (Optoma UHD30), but after installing the Optoma_UHD_40_DSR.zip EDID override using cru-1.4.2.zip I am left with 3D Vision Discover only. I do not own a 3D Vision Emitter, is it necessary?puzzabug wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 8:11 pm I've got 1080p/120 working by following the fixes in that thread (although I had to find the downloads separately) - Optoma_UHD_40_DSR.zip installed with the cru-1.4.2.zip - restarted my computer, and now I've got 1 3D input and one 4k/60 input. I may have had the USB 3D glasses installed at that point.transfer1992 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 10:20 amI have the same exact projector (Optoma UHD30), but after installing the Optoma_UHD_40_DSR.zip EDID override using cru-1.4.2.zip I am left with 3D Vision Discover only. Or maybe you had to set something in projector settings? I tried putting it into 3D mode, but still I get only red/cyan anaglyph mode.
Thanks for a very quick reply!puzzabug wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 10:33 amI may have had the USB 3D glasses installed at that point.transfer1992 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 10:20 amI have the same exact projector (Optoma UHD30), but after installing the Optoma_UHD_40_DSR.zip EDID override using cru-1.4.2.zip I am left with 3D Vision Discover only. I have the USB ones, you can get an emitter on ebay still. Nvidia locked using the 3D functionality (even for crts and other things) to having an emitter. I'm pretty sure this is how it worked for me.transfer1992 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:13 am Thanks for a very quick reply!
Do you have the original ones, or you could recommend some replacement?
