.....can i install Windows 7? I got an ISO an a key. But booting from USB will result in RESTART and return to the Boot Menü. Install from Win10 will result in an endless reboot

I hate this 20th ct s#h#i#t ... 19th OS installation/bios/etc was easier ^^

Much appreciate some help here. I need to install Win 7 on my system, i have win 10 @ 2 Disks and have a free disk for Win 7 but i cant manage to install this Whats the problem here?

i was now able to get trough the install menu but i have no cotrols. NUM is working but i cant see any coursor. no keys working....hm....i cant continue.....

Maybe your installation disc is corrupt or you need to have a separate disk drive.

I have my iso you can download from my home server:
Edit:// I put the iso's onto my web server online so the downloads are faster incase others want windows 7 iso from here.

Windows 7 home premium sp1 32bit and 64bit
My home upload is only 20mbps so it might take 25 minutes to get one iso

Losti don't you have a 9900k?
I heard you have to slip stream drivers else no usb keyboard and mouse support for windows 7
Anyway please see wolcen thread, 3dmigoto hooks fine for me in windows 10

Tank you !!! I am downlaoding it between my windows 7 install attemps witht he current ISOS i got. I think the problem is really there. I was able to kill the issue with the NO MOUSE/KEYBAORD using a USB to PS2 Adapter lol Losti is having some really legacy hardware in stock, never expected that i will use this adapter ^^ hehe but i have found this instant in my Legacy box!

But the installation hangs up, also it was not able to find some DRIVER ... hmmm .... used LEGACY boot option and formating for the stick .... ill try another iso right now. I am abit closer now ^^ If your iso is finished and i want able to manage the installation with the current one ill try it!

Download is currently really low 500 kb/s may you can kick off others for some minutes to finish the downlaod for me )))))

You have to enter your cd key then they will let you download the iso.

The problem is that the CD key i have purcheased reporting this:

"The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options."

All the things i have tired failed, i have to wait for your ISO as a last attempt....

ok I see, yes i have bought some cd keys off of ebay and they might not work on microsofts site. There used to be sites online that had to iso's for downloading but I can't find them anymore. I will look some more.

I still stick @ Setup is installing .... with every ISO i try waiting approx 30 mins will end up in no disk available for installation....

I think it has something to do with uefi mode and legacy: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/window ... -bios-mode

try and boot the iso using uefi mode.

I installed Win 7 Ultimate first on my old rig with i7 2600k then update, and move the OS SSD to a new PC 8700k with Z370 motherboard. Only needed the install USB legacy driver and additional chipset, MEI, RST, network, sound, video drivers. If I remember correctly the range of old Microsoft mouse had included that USB to PS2 Adapter.
