The Support is comingfrom the driver, the lateset official 3D vision driver does not support a SUPER card, means no 3D Vision is supported.

BUT you can install the latest driver and get 3D vision patched into it so the super card is supported and this means 3d vision is supported.

If you have windows 10 1809 please follow this:

If you have windiws 10 1903 please follow this:

To get 3D vision patched into latest driver by your script or manual we should install 425.31 firstly. But HOW we will install 425.31 on SUPER card if first driver acceptable for them is 431.60 ? And I haven't found how to install 3DV driver via GUI of 3D Manager (may be it caused by my old 7300GT card - my GTX 970 died couple weeks ago)
So for SUPER card in Win 7 you can try 3D kit for 441.12 from harisukro https://www.mtbs3d.com/phpBB/viewtopic. ... 77#p165840

I just studied this scenario for a HelixVision question (might be same person).

I think it definitely IS possible to install 3D Vision for an RTX Super. With the caveat being that I don't have one to test exactly.

My test was to DDU remove my previous driver, which theoretically will remove all traces of the 425.31.

Then, I installed the 431.86 driver, which is fully supported by RTX Super cards. No 3D of course.

Then I followed Losti's steps manually, but without ever installing 425.31. I unzipped and fetched the 3D Vision driver, tweaked the version using FVIE, and then installed normally.

1) Clean Install 431.86
2) Download 425.31.
3) Unzip the driver installer, then find the 3DVision folder and unzip the 3DVision.exe package.
4) Run the FVIE version editor, and change the NvSCPAPI.dll and NvSCPAPI64.dll versions to 4.3186
5) Run the Setup.exe in the folder to install 3D Vision.
6) At activation, choose Discover for red/blue anaglyph.

That worked without complaint. And the 3D was running for all tests I did outside of UE4 games, which are known crashing on Win 10 1903.

If you have 3D Vision hardware, you can also install the USB driver by using right-click on the .inf file and Install.

If you have Windows 1809 or below the simplest method is to use 3d fix manager.

Install latest standard (non DCH) drivers. Use 3d fix manager to inject 3D vision.

This what I do to use 3d on my 2060 super. I've avoided installing newer Windows and it's just fine.

I have RTX 2070. I've just install 441.20 3DV Driver on Win 7x64 (full - not anaglyph):

1. Install 441.20
2. Download 425.31 and extract it to take 2 folders NV3DVision and NV3DVisionUSB.Driver
3. In device manager click refresh driver on "NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D USB controller" and select folder NV3DVisionUSB.Driver (you can't install it through nvstusb.inf with right click)
4. UnRar NV3DVision\3DVision.exe in FOLDER folder with WinRar
5. Use FVIE to change versions of FOLDER\NvSCPAPI.dll and FOLDER\NvSCPAPI64.dll to 7.17.14.4120
6. Run FOLDER\setup.exe

I think this method is situable for any SUPER card !
So we don't need to install 425.31 anymore

Thank you Neovad, this solution is exactly what I needed. I followed your steps to get the GTX 1650 working in windows 8.1. GTX 1650 was not included in 425.31 because it was released later than gtx 1660. I had previously gotten 3d vision to work through the method of modifying nv_dispi.inf to add GTX 1650 into 425.31, however, my framerate was terrible, I could get 3d movies to play just fine but games did not get more than about 20fps. So I followed your instructions and made some changes because I installed 441.87-desktop-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql instead of 441.20.

My steps:
1. install 441.87-desktop-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql
2. download 425.31 and extract NV3DVision and NV3DVisionUSB.Driver using 7zip.
3. In device manager right click "NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D USB controller" and uninstalled the driver. Then I installed nvstusb.inf from the folder NV3DVisionUSB.Driver
4. In 7zip I extracted the contents of NV3DVision\3DVision.exe into a folder i created called FOLDER.
5. I used FVIE to change NvSCPAPI.dll and NvSCPAPI64.dll to 7.17.14.4187 (i used 4187, not 4120 as neovad, since neovad used driver 441.20 and i am using 441.87)
6. I ran setup.exe in FOLDER and the stereo driver installed without a driver mismatch error. The 3d vision setup menu now appears in nvidia control panel in windows 8.1.

Windows 8.1 has less bloat than 10, and I am getting high framerates in 3d vision max settings crysis and far cry 2. looking forward to Ampere

Hello,

I just tested on an rtx 2080 super.

Support is the same as with a 3090Ti (or higher). Ok with latest driver for dx9 games. for dx11 games you have to use geo11 (but it does not work with all games..)

I will try to find a 2080Ti instead..

I've seen 2080ti's going on ebay for 300-400 bucks. Pretty much rtx 3070 class cards looks to be going down in price slowly, but the rtx 3080 and up are going going up slightly. I'm pretty sure the high end gpus will come in price in a couple of months when nvidia finally decides to cut prices. They don't appear to be selling very well for the rtx 40 series cards. I can't afford these expensive cards anyways, so I have to look for used.

So have you tried running 3d vision on an rtx 30 series card? I've heard it's possible for dx11 games, but not dx9. I'm currently upgrading my pc right now, so I will need to decide on which GPU to get.

I believe the 2080 Super released after 425.35 driver, and would require a merged 3D Vision driver, at least. Any 3XXX card would need geo-11 to work, which does not work with all 3D Vision games on helixmod. The 2080Ti with 425 driver works with the broadest range of games (including DX9) - I have 2 (one backup). Why not dual-boot and use both card generations?
Dual boot VR/3D Vision disk partitioning (multiple SSDs). 3D Vision - Windows 10 v1809, 425.31 driver, 32 GB, i9-9900X@4.5 GHz, hybrid-cooled 2080Ti, 4K LG E6 OLED TV with EDID. VR/geo-11 - 3080Ti with Vive Pro 2, also have Aero, wireless lens-modified Vive Pro, Index, Reverb G2, Pimax 8K.

Hello,
I also have a 3090Ti and it works for some games in dx9 and dx11 with GEO11 (Warning! not all dx11 games!)

FWIW: I have an RTX 2080 Super running 3D vision using the 452.22 drivers installed with BringBack3DV.exe on Windows 11 Pro x64. Works great for 3D blu-rays. I have not tried games recently. If 452.22 is not the driver I ought to be using please respond.

FWIW: I installed a 2080 super with the 2080 ti drivers manually from the 3d vision supported drivers. The drivers installed fine without issues, 3d vision works with the 2080 super.

I initially bought it as a 2080 ti, the box and the cooler indicated it was a 2080 ti. It was an amazon return purchase, so it seem like someone swapped the cooler out before returning it. I got a slight discount because of it, which is basically the price of what a 2080 super went for at the time.

Im curious if the newer gpus could use the rtx2000 series drivers, idk, the gpu prices are dropping slightly. new gpu shipments are down, hopefully by the end of the year the price will have significantly dropped by then. I would upgrade to the 4070ti or 4080, from the 2080 super, but those prices will need to come down a bit more.

You can use GPUz to determine what die the GPU is using
Yup, the GPUz shows up as a 2080 super. I'm totally fine with it as it has the samsung memory chips, and was in pretty good condition. It's running at 16x pcie, the die is TU104. I took a screenshot of it. It's in a 12gen intel system. And It works with 3d vision. :D
