help with my diy hmd

Guys:
i was gadering information from multiple places so i decided to finally make my own hmd using 5X 5cm lupe lenses and a 7" inch lcd display (1280*800) from aliexpress...
i made some 3d parts and when everythin was completed i got two problems:
1. it only shows a more-less nice image using a lower resolution of 800*600 (using trideff and other software i found, dont remember the name) when i use 1200*800 the image you see has not 3d effect it seams that you are looking two different displays (not a nice binocular effect)
2. the worst, even at a low resolution 800*600 i have an image like this:
insted of:
as you can see, i see the a stripe of the right image at the left of the screen.
i tryed to move horizontally my screen but the stripe is there... what did i make wrong?
