Nice post. In my opinion i don't believe that AR is more compelling to consumers than VR. Once we truly can describe what VR content is, then we will likely create a content consumption medium that surpasses the potential of any other currently available. That said, what is more likely to consume the market is devices which mix VR and AR experiences (whatever that may look like) to create a total technology platform that can essentially replace all forms of digital interaction altogether.
