Driver 1.09 crashes 3D Mark, causes black screen of death

Every time I run benchmarks and demos in 3D Mark 2001SE, 2005 and 2006, the application crashes after finishing the first scene or test, with the following details (the DLL name and offset are always the same):

3D Mark 2001SE demo and 3D Mark 2003 work fine.

Also, after a Direct3D application exists, ocassionally the screen would turn black and only the mouse cursor will move. The only option is a reset.

I'm using Windows XP Professional SP3 (32 bit) and Radeon X1950GT 512 MB with iZ3D driver 1.09 in anaglyph mode.

When i tried 1.09 beta1 with 3Dmark06, the bench blackscreened crashed during the deep freeze test.
I didn't try again with newer versions.

That is the same with me. Havent tries latest version.

Again, the crash happens right after the test scene has finished, no matter if S3D mode has been activated; there are no visual or whatsoever problems while the benchmark or demo scene is running.

But what exactly has been fixed - the crash in 3D Mark, or the black screen?

BTW the black screen seems to show up every time when I switch to the desktop from a Direct3D application using either Alt-TAB or Windows key.
