Meant to be Seen

This Movie Despicable Me 2 3d was 19.99 at bestbuy. I've been meaning to get it and I waited to watch it since it was released in the theatre. I only watched the first 50 minutes so far and its pretty funny. The minions are mostly making the jokes by talking more in a mumble voice and imitating other people or cultures.

So hows the 3d you wonder. Hmmm... I was wondering about the 3d in this movie on my setup and honestly diving into the movie it does not give a good sense of 3d depth and volume at all. I am watching on a 120 hz dlp projector 285 inch screen with a ps3 and dlp link glasses.

What I think is happening is my cross point of interaxis convergence is wider than the movie and this movie is really made for little kids in 3d maybe. So 3d that I seen was about 3 out of 10 but I know it could be tweaked better.

I liked the first one. Haven't seen this one yet.

Keep thinking about buying up some 3D Blu-Rays but I actually don't even watch movies that often.

The best thing to do is to shop online if you have a credit card and some money. If you look at best buy you can get deals on 3D Blu-rays for 14.99 to 24.99 each for a combo pack.

And shopping online would be easier than going to the store and checking their in-store stock. I goto the stores and want to get a movie and its not even there on the shelf sometimes even though it says its there on the website.

I don't really watch that many movies too, I just thought 3D with the mix of a good director would be worth it.
