Passive clip-ons that don't distort ?

Post by Innuendo1231 »

Hello mtbs community.

So I recently bought an LG 4k passive TV. Than I bought official LG cimema 3D clip-ons for it.
I've been using them for a couple of months now and I noticed that there's a pretty bad distortion in a wavy pattern across the lenses. It degrades the picture quality as there's no way to avoid these distorting spots that actually mess up clarity/sharpness.

I expected more from official LG clip-ons... Oh well.
I'm looking to find High Quality clip-ons compatible with LG cinema 3DTV.

Any clues or experiences?

You can try the selection here, but I have no clue how good they work on LG tvs.

What about separate polarizing filters? I'm a optician, if I knew a source for goood quality filters I could prepare something myself.

Yeah, it's possible to find loose polarizer filters but honestly I haven't looked into it in years.
