Skyrim crashing with Perception on and Steam

I can run Tridef 3D through steam no problem but it doesn't seem to like Vireio with Limelight (now Moonlight) --The Skyrim menu starts up then the screen flashes back to the Steam menu and I can hear the Skyrim music still playing but I can not access the game ...

Any ideas?
