SONY HMZ-T1 mods

I purchased this unit few months ago but really used it for few minutes. Reason being is that it is very much uncomfortable and keeps loosing focus even with a slight movement or to breath.
It has fantastic 3D picture and looked awesome when I hooked with my new xbox one 2 days ago but I kept adjusting the straps or slightly moving the headset to get good focus every second as focus is lost again with very slight movement.
I would like to use these goggles in bed to either watch a good movie or play say COD on my xbox one.
Another issue I found was with the rubber parts that attach below the screens not to let light in as these keep falling off.
any suggestions to get a comfortable and focused HMZ-T1 ?
btw I wear glasses.
