Some tidbits you may not know about the social networking giant as it celebrates its big day.

Happy birthday, Facebook!

Mark Zuckerberg’s company turns 11 today, and it’s a bigger part of our lives than ever. We spend our free time scrolling through friends and friends of friends’ photos from years gone by. And we post details about our most important – and not so important – moments. In short, it’s been a love-hate relationship through the years.

This guy says using facebook makes you stoopid in a lot of ways. He talks about mental issues. I don't agree with him, facebook is enriching and brings us social experiences we couldn't get without zuckerberg.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9ZqXlHl65g

This guy, 2veritas, well known on youtube as a cool science dude, he talks about the facebook business model. How youtube made 5 billion last year, but most of that money went back into the community and content creators pocket. That facebook made 7 billion last year but most of that went into zuckers pocket. How Zucker with 35 billion shouldn't be so greedy and should design economic models that help more people than just himself. I don't agree with 2veritas though. Palmer has told me on several occassion in private emails that Zucker is a k3wl dude and wants to help people, and if padawan says so, thats good enough for me! Padawan Palmer has also said many times publicly if we don't like things, we should go to congress and get laws changed. http://www.sctech.org/news.php?id=265 My Uncle Butch Wallace is campaign advisor to US Congressman Joe Wilson, he was famous in 2009 for telling Obama YOU LIE to his face in congress. It was so rivoting that Saturday Night Live parodied Joe Wilson in their 2009 season opener. I am so thankful Palmer agrees if people don't like things, congress is the avenue to look into people like zuckerberg, and facebook! Thanks padawan for the great advice, me and uncle and wilson and lots of wilsons friends want to talk about you guys at facebook maybe :) I am sure a nice big lobbying payout to their PAC could grease some conversation topics ;)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCvf2DZzKX0 And here is some clown named JARON LANIER, he has books called "who owns the future" and "you are not a gadget" talking about economic models like facebook have, where 1 zucker gets all the money, and the rest of us are kicked down into poverty in this new digital economy. Well Palmer has 600 million dollars from a recent fortune magazine article, so I don't know what is wrong with this Jaron Lanier guy, Palmer aint hurtin, he has done well in this new economy, Jaron sounds bitter, why can't he be like my republican uncle and accept capitalism is good, greed is good, just like Mike Douglas said in Wall Street?

CHOO CHOO - you go palmer! :)

What is really interesting is zucker said in a recent public interview, it could take, 10, 15, even up TO 20 YEARS! for vr stuff to become the main computing platform! Wow, from justin moravetz, to thailand developers, to seattle ultra high net worth investors I know personally, that is a freaking long time man! All these people sold on hope and hype who put up big money, took out kickstarters, and to be faced with 20 year time frames now when they got sold on HOPE of maybe a year or 2, well it wrecked familes and companies and the wake of destruction is WOW! There was a movie called DUNE, about this young kid, who had lots of hope, and it caused lots of damage long term, paul atriedes later felt bad about that damage, and he truend to undo it in the sequel, Children of Dune. That was a good movie too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVOpazpgi8M Some humans don't need silly things like guilt, reflection, caution, how foolish, they only need what Mike Douglas said in wall street, GREED, because it is good! It clarifies and cuts through all those other human BS emotions! Bolas wanted to make sure I read this PDF: http://people.ict.usc.edu/~suma/papers/ ... poster.pdf I think Bolas should watch more dune, this is a beautiful song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LP9m0aspIqo And read this reddit thread how MTBS3D was the future for a lot of things http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments ... honebased/

http://voicesofvr.com/47-bernhard-drax- ... esurgence/

Hell while we are at it, ben lang, rev kyle, kent bye, they turned me onto this GUY DRAX, he says this: He provides a number of insights into for people express their identity in Second Life and has a lot of concerns for what a Facebook metaverse would look like in terms of data mining or limiting people’s expressions of identity. Facebook has a lot of strict rules about connecting your online identity with your actual identity and if these practices carry over into virtual worlds, then Drax is afraid of unnecessary limitations on people’s agency over their identity and how they creatively express themselves through their avatar.

WOW! What a loser! Why cant that guy just accept zucker is a K3wl dude (tm) like palmer told me? Sheesh! One day I found this palmer brony pony pic, with palmer wearing rainbow hair, I thought we were all old friend, palmer, cyber, me, lotsa peeps, and I thought it was funny, and I live to laugh, http://www.academia.edu/4039667/The_Hac ... euromancer So I changed my oculus forums avatar to that palmer brony pony picture, cause it was funny, and I thought we all could laugh together, cause life is short, and my dad said on his deathbed, don't take life so seriously son, you never gonna make it out alive, http://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2 ... cells.html Now new telomere research may prove dad wrong, but I liked his point, live and laugh and have fun. So I was trying to have fun, LAUGHING with cyber and palmer, I encourage people to laugh at me all the time, laughs are good medicine. Oh Jesus though, palmer had a fit, so much so Kevin Williams contacted me and said William Wallace, you are going to be DESTROYED, you have made some people very very ANGRY and they are NOT LAUGHING! Oh jesus, I just wanted to be the jester in the kingdom, so Kevin said go to Oculus RIGHT NOW and change that avatar pic, screw what DRAX says up above, so I certainly didn't want king padawan in tears, or angry, so I went there to do as padawan and kevin wanted, but lo and behold DRAX was RIGHT! They had already FORCEFULLY removed my avatar pic, so much for freedom :( But you know what, you can't bring BRAVEHEART down, he is gonna laugh and love and learn no matter who is out to get him! Zucker and padawan, 35 billion or not, are just clowns in his reality for him to get laughs with, and he wishes they weren't so uptight and would want to get laughs back, sheesh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StJS51d1Fzg Mel Brooks did say its good to be king zucker ;) Carmack is only worth 4 million, I think without him blessing a OPEN SOURCE HMD with the celebrity and fame he had, giving away that GOODWILL for free, things would not be where they are today, i think he got cheated, and I am going to talk to my uncle and joe wilson how disasters that cheat carmacks in the future NEVER happen again! MTBS3D maybe got cheated too. Time will tell.

I've been watching this Hype Train gif all day! It's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. You've outdone yourself this time, Martin Landau!
