Hi,
I could really use some help here.
I just bought an LG G3 for the sole purpose of using it with splashtop, as my main monitor. I'm having a hard time finding a VR goggles set with optics to use with it, other than the Dive. I'm almost entirely interested in 2D applications, just want a private close up screen for working comfortably- and I realize that yes this is a 3D forum, but where else to get the answers-
Can I buy a readily made solution like the durovis dive for example (which doesn't list compatibility with the G3) that won't have a divider in the middle and I can see the whole screen at once? Is that practical? Or is it possible that I could remove the screen divider on some units?
If anyone has a ready-made solution I would appreciate it.
-do I need to make my own from ski goggles, and if so, what optics do I need and where to get them please?
thanks-

Re: Help with LG G3 2K display
some people use fresnel magnifiers to make cheap 2d hmd's for FPV setups.

I am wondering if I decide to use 'pro' optics, something like is in the Rift, does anyone have a recommendation on which ones I might try for a smartphone this big, adn where to get them on ebay?
