Skyrim and Perception 2.0 - right eye only shadows

All,

I have looked at the material out there and cannot find a hard and fast answer for this. Shadows in certain sections of Skyrim are only rendering in one eye. I have enabled 3d vision in anaglyph mode, added bDeferredShadows=0 to the [Display] section of both of the SkrimPrefs.ini and made both read only. This is a vanilla install of Skyrim. Is this a known issue, or have I missed something?

I am running the game at 1080p and on Ultra. I have a GTX770.

Yes, this is a known issue - especially indoor shadows. It's getting fixed. We just don't know if it will be ready by tomorrow. We've already fixed the rotating fog issue.

Neil

Thanks Neil! Yes, it is indoor shadows which are the problem. It makes for a weird effect - like one is going blind!

As a temporary tweak, you can turn your internal shadows off in SkyrimPrefs.ini:

fInteriorShadowDistance=0.0000

I wish that was a working temp fix. Though it would seem that's exactly what is causing the issue, it would also seem that there may be a particular kind of shader that doesn't get disabled through that method. I have all fShadow lines set to 0.00 and still when in an interior there is the occasional freakout on my poor eyes.

The game is incredible other than that, and well... flickering clouds.

The next release of Vireio will fix most of these problems.
