Mouse emulation?

Hey yalls. I'm mucking about with tridef and oculus overlay and getting some decent, if generic results. But my question is, how are you guys getting the rift to control the mouse? i'm playing in some random fps games and want to look around (with mouselook), but no deal. I know I'm missing something, but I did a google search and can't find anything. I'm assuming it's because it's a super basic function that I just don't know about. Any help is appreciated!

Have you tried the TriDef Oculus beta?

It has mouse emulation built in.
