Cooliris (formerly Piclens) in 3D

Post by Sir C »

By accident I realized that the Cooliris Add on for firefox (formerly known as Piclens) works on 3D, even with the youtube videos.

Here is the link http://www.cooliris.com/

ok an overkill thing to try is:

1. put on a pair of anaglyph glasses
2.put on a pair of polarized/shutterglasses over the anaglyph glasses
3.go to flickr and do a search for "anaglyph"
4.start browsing using Cooliris and enable stereo 3d mode.

I try using the "crosseye" method, doesn't work well because everything else doubles. :P

I can't get it to work with the iZ3D drivers.

Are you sure it is working properly? I see doubled images, but they are not polarized to each eye.

Any special driver settings? OpenGL? Anything?

Regards,
Neil

There's not much depth, but is something.

now this is strange- first 5 times or so it worked nicely but after that I can't get 3d to turn on as well using iz3d 1.08. Even rebooting didn't help. Other 3d apps work fine in 3d.

Try turning OpenGL on. Routertype=1 is important too.
