Hello,
I had grid working in steam with the iz3d monitor. My computer crashed recently. Now when I activate the iz3d driver and then grid. it crawls and is unplayable. Has anyone else had this problem? nvidia 8800gtx, latast drivers, 3.0 duocore. thanks!

As an aside, anyone had any luck with DiRT on the iz3d? I presume it uses the same graphics engine as GRID so will likely share any issues...

GRID and Dirt are both fine in our lab - can you try to re-install the iZ3D driver

Yes, I tried that. it is the steam version. Still no good, odd thing is surround sound does not work on steam games with driver installed (even when disabled). is this a steam issue? Maybe I should get the disc version? Thanks. The one time it worked, Grid was amazing! Problem is, now 2D games look like crap in comparision.

Ah yes tell me about it :) I just upgraded to a 9800gx2 and am getting over 18000 marks in 3dmark06 with my rig, I've tried running Crysis, DirT and all the others and it does absolutely nothing for me anymore - put it next to something like rFactor in s3D and there is NO comparrison.

I cannot wait to play DiRT on my projector rig with the 1.09 drivers - its a dream come true!

Be aware that the 9800GX2 doesn't support dual outputs :)

I went out and bought the disc version of grid. Installed it, set shadows to low, no anti aliasing. Game will start and 3d looks good, but moves at a crawl. one frame every 2 seconds or so. Can someone please help? I really want this game to work for me. I am having fun with other games that do work. It is very impressive!

what kind of iZ3D mode do you use? anaglyph?

I use IZ3d mode. Should I set to anaglyph? Will the glasses that came with the monitor work in that mode? Thanks

anaglyph mode= for red/cyan colored glasses (usually made of cardboard)

iz3d mode = for the glasses that come with the iz3d. also this mode works only when an iz3d monitor is attached.

no - I'm just trying to understand how did you run iZ3D mode if you need dual output which is not supported by your card ... may you try to run anaglyph to check fps?

Ok,
Turned off steam community. Menu work ok, but when you start the game, screen goes black then nothing happens. When I switch to analgraph mode, game works, but is still at a crawl.

Thanks

Grid does not work for me also. It crashes at the moment I activate stereo. It used to work perfect with the 1.08 driver.
Same happened with DIRT.

we corrected one big bug today which led to games crashes today - hope it will help here too - but I think we need one more day for additional testing tomorrow (Tuesday)
