A while back I recall seeing an interesting input/haptic device mentioned here on MTBS3D, but for the life of me I cannot remember the name.
This was a pulley-like system that you could attach to your feet or hands. Based on how far you pulled it, it would know the location of your limbs. I think it could pull back as well to simulate some haptic feedback.
Any guesses as to the name are welcome!

The PC version of this is all but impossible to find anymore. You can still get the PS2 version on eBay, but it requires significant hacking to get it to work on a PC.
It is a pretty novel concept, and did work pretty well from what I remember. Kind of wish I hadn't thrown it out when I was moving.

Here is the PC mod for a GameTrak:

The PS2 version one with a rev 2.0 PCB is an easy mod:

You just need a solder bridge across the contact points labelled "PC".
Here is a V2.0 unit for $16 on ebay:

Using a PS2 rev 1 board is a pain though.
I got a PC version for $0.99 (plus shipping) on eBay not long ago, so they show up from time to time if you look for them.
