Tin-foil hat time! They are various representation of the "All-Seeing Eye" or the "Eye of Providence" (symbol of the Illuminati):






It is also known in Jewish tradition as the "Evil Eye":



And in Turkey, the evil eye is warded off by the ever popular "Lucky Eye":



Despite the fact that the following images look more Jewish "Evil Eye" than Turkish "Lucky Eye", I think we should go with the friendlier-sounding Turkish name, and perhaps we should call these the "Luckey Eye":
