I saw the Peregrine glove on YouTube. These gloves look amazing, but would this be something worthwhile to use with the Oculus? If it can do forward/reverse/turn Hot Keys then it sounds like a winning combination to me!
Any thoughts experiences?

There was already another thread about this. It's somewhat neat, but on its own, it's fairly limited to the types of games you could use it for. For the most part, a gamepad is better as a singular input device.

Somebody just give me two gloves both with haptic feedback and 1:1 motion tracking and also model them in my view in-game. I want to conduct symphonies that create worlds. A musical god game. That and fly around like superman of course.

Well NASA is already on the haptic side of things at least http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/11/26 ... n_sensing/
Also found this http://www.cyberglovesystems.com/produc ... h/overview
That company seems to make gloves primarily for mocap solutions but I bet somebody could DIY that into a game, the question is if the trackers are supplying real time data.
Well this seems interesting but requires a fee to access the paper, it's titled "Wearable haptic glove using micro hydraulic system for control of construction robot system with VR environment" http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/login.js ... %3D4648016
This is probably the best I've found so far at explaining the techniques behind it, from Cornell https://courses.cit.cornell.edu/ee476/F ... olumn.html
