VR-Pc audio to android *Mic too* Phone calls <--->

Hey, so I finally got some android apps that will let you have wireless audio including mic and have incoming phone calls. I thought apple ipod apps store would have this but I could only find Wifi2Hifi... It would be cool to get a Facetime apps into a VR headset for a phone call. But anyways these are the apps for android which I just tested the phone call and I am using wired headphones with Mic Control.

First is the app for Audio: http://georgielabs.cjb.net/ Soundwire
It costs 3.99 I think and lets you change the audio latency and from my usage with it, it will go down to 54ms which is pretty well insync with gaming video. They have a free trial of it to test.

Second is this app for Mic: http://www.wirelessorange.com/womic/ Wo Mic
Now this will work as a audio recoring device and installs a driver. The mic output is only "telephone quality" but could work ok for chatting Skype even voice commands although I had trouble setting it up with dragon naturally speaking 12. I guess I have some kind of feedback in my audio not sure exactly.

Third is this app for answering calls automatically on a headset: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... nBob25lIl0.

It costs 1.68 for the full version and I just tested it and it works good. Auto Answer the Phone

Lets you change the amount of seconds to answer the call and keeps the gaming audio still playing from Soundwire.

Anyways I am enjoying wireless audio on my wifi with next to NO latancy and since I have three wifi routers I have coverage around most of where I live. I have to take out the garbage and see if it goes that far. :P

I hope you can try it out if you already got an android phone. It might even be worth buying an android phone too.

So what, you are playing a VR game and then the thing rings, and then auto answers after x amount of rings, while you still keep playing? Can you make it drop the volume of the game audio, or what do you do to be able to hear? (I often have the games cranked up).

Ya, if you have the game audio cranked up with music playing at the same time as I do from another computer, it will lower the volume of the game audio and music and let you listen to the phone call. Its almost exactly the same as if you were listening to music on your phone with a headset while getting a phone call.

So I found an old app from Apple mac store that's called "AirPhones" it has LOW latency and costs 99 cents for the full app. I have been testing it with video and music so far. Its pretty good! This app turns your iPod or iPhone into wireless headphones streaming audio from your computer.

I have it connected onto my netbook which has 32bit windows 7 and connected to the "line in" is my sound blaster extigy which passes audio from my other two computers through digital and line inputs.

It does only work on 32bit windows OS systems but I guess it works on 64bit osx mac.

I been using AirPhones alot more lately and I finally got it working good, with good reception from wifi. I guess you can even get it enabled through AdHoc mode which works awesome and from my netbook I can get to around 1000 Square feet range that is clear. But I had noticed that I needed to use WEP security.

I also picked up a new router, Amped Wireless : http://www.ampedwireless.com/products/r20000g.html

This company advertises around 10000 square feet which I agree that it does.
