How do I hide OSD message "3D is disabled"?

I installed the Tridef drivers to try out a few games on my 3D tv and everything was smooth sailing; until I booted up Torchlight 2 on my 2d monitor via steam. Now whatever I do I get this annoying message "3d is disabled..." OSD that I can't get rid of. Googling, reading forums, manuals guides, nothing even touches this problem.

The thing is, TL2 aint even in the Ignition list; I've even force quit the process for Tridef but STILL that message shows up when i boot Torchlight.

Do I really have to uninstall the drivers to get rid of that message when I want to play on my 2d monitor?

I'm tech savvy and been around modding and whatnot for a long long time but now I'm stumped.

Halp?

You may have to exit Steam (log-out and close from task bar) and then re-open it when you want to play in 2D.

Always after playning in 3D, must completely switch off steam, and after that re-open steam without ignition
