difference in LCD shutters

Post by flexy »

well, on my journey to find out whether i need "special" LCD glasses for 3D DLPs/Plasmas i found out now, directly from tridef site:

That the only difference indeed seems to be that "DLP suitable" 3d glasses dont interfere with the remote of the TVs, so this seems to be the only change.

So..they just changed the IR emitter frequency...and now they sell them as "DLP suitable"...

(Not that i use the remote anyway while watching 3D...and even IF i use it..then it only desyncs for a sec...so what? This doesnt mean existing LCD glasses (whatever brand) wont work...)
