Looks like full body motion tracking in 360 degree is possible with PC with 4 kinect camera. Hopefully the camera is sensitive enough to use as head tracking as well. This will open up lot of possiblity for VR gaming.

Yes. I am interested in this for hand tracking. Supposed to work as close as 40cm, which sounds good.

Sounds like someone needs to put this in a FreePIE plugin

A while ago i saw a review about Kinect headtracking for the x-box, there were some problems with the camera seperating the chair and the user and delay:

Is it a software or a hardware ( camera ) problem?

I highly doubt Kinect head tracking will be suitable for VR purposes, at least in this generation. It might be ok for looking around in certain games... but remember, a headtracker needs both accuracy AND low latency to avoid simulator sickness, and both of these attributes are lacking on Kinect.
