any news, plans about double resolution, so fullhd/eye is possible?

The vertical FOV increase is a welcome improvement. I own the old 22" model which I really like but the view angle is so small.
Let's see how it will be prices and I might consider upgrading.

This is awesome news. The Zalman has been really good to me, I still use it sometimes even after getting a 120Hz monitor. Its a nice solution. With the doubling of the viewing angle that should alleviate one of the main issues with the product. I plan to build a new rig soon based on AMD, so I need a solution just like this. If they are competitively priced I may make the jump as well.

Well it sounds like a good upgrade option to me...

Maybe I'll upgrade but I wait for a definite confirmation that it work with the nvidia 3D driver (via hdmi and 3D Vision for TVs).
