eDimensional- is this just me or...

Post by yuriythebest »

OK, Am I crazy or can anyone else confirm this: using edimensional shutterglasses using a genuine VGA exit yields deeper 3d than using a DVI->VGA converter from a dvi-only videocard (6600 versus 8600gts). Even after adjusting the shift of images the 3d is still not as pronounced.

I don't see how that's possible. These converters don't do anything to the signal, they only change the pinout.

CRT provides a far superior 3d effect than LCD using shutter glasses yet they are using the same method to achieve 3d so perhaps the different signals can also have an effect. I have used two different computers with those glasses and they did seem to perform better on the direct VGA output but it was also a ATI card VS Nvidiot.
