Yeah, friggin' epic! I think I actually posted a link to that video somewhere around here when it was first released. Dude is nuts.

And people think wearing 3D glasses is dorky and uncomfortable...

I want to wear this at university.

Also at the comments it says that he is also using 3d Vision- epic! this will definitely give him better quality than the "regular" HMD's - now he could get 2 additional LCD's at the sides and suspend the entire thing using a system of ropes so it doesn't break his neck/head/shoulders- and then put a dark cloth/blanket over himself. that'd rule.

I agree. A fresnel lens would be beneficial in this case too. It would be very easy to build a support base for the entire rig. You would need a self contained head tracker, I did have one years ago and I can't remember where I bought it now.

while he's at it he can attach a novint falcon to each arm and add a modded running excersise machine thingy to act as a simulator
