Are you trying to use this with Nvidia 3D Vision? I doubt the 3D sync could maintain with wireless video over that distance.

Remote desktop and a laptop?
250' is quite a distance for video. What's the resolution and purpose?
If you can do DVI, you can use a fiber optic repeater for around $500 plus $300-$500 of cable.

Here you can find VGA coax cables that are said to be able to deliver a 1900x1200 VGA signal to 250 feet :
