You probably want to get the Nvidia 3D Vision glasses but this also means you will have to upgrade to an Nvidia GPU.

Thanks for the reply
after some googling I found the reason that Ati doesnt support 3D is because they didnt have a 3driver for the graphic cards

Third party drivers like tridef experience are working on my Pc with red cyan glasses
and the game mafia2 is very well supported

So I think both samsung or Nvidea glasses will work

What is your opinion, is the right or wrong??

thanks again

The Samsung glasses are just for Samsung TVs, not PC monitors.

At the moment, 120Hz frame sequential LCD computer monitors with shutter glasses have only one known working 3D configuration : Nvidia 3D vision with Nvidia software and Nvidia hardware.

Third party drivers do not work with this display because they miss :
-> 120Hz frame sequential output (iz3d is working on it but requires a new driver from ATi that is not yet released to the public)
-> USB driver to synchronize the Nvidia glasses to the display

In order to play videos in 3D with this display you will need to use a 3D capable video player that supports the 3D vision system :
-Stereoscopic player, payware, Plays any video you can find on the web but does not support BluRay3D format.
-Nvidia Stereoscopic player, free version of the above but limited to Nvidia 3D vision displays, it's on the 3D vision installation CD.
-Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 ultra 3D, payware, supports BluRay 3D
-Arcsoft Total Media Theatre 3 3D, payware, supports BluRay 3D

For all Ati graphics user mostly you should look into getting a Zalman Trimon 3D monitor. It will work perfectly with your setup and has high marks for imersion. Look here: http://www.zalman.co.kr/ENG/product/Pro ... sp?idx=391" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you can wait to game without 3d for a few months I guess till Iz3d and viewsonic release their combo package then whatever they have in mind for shutterglasses will be had, but whos not to say all the other 120hz frame sequential monitors will work. Maybe instead of converting to Nvidia keep your ati 1000mhz (good crisp) gaming rig and choose Zalman.
