The one i have seen at photokina 98 was a one-panel-screen, was a recording-playing-system(beamer) creating dual-images on any camera. wiht todays high-resolution cams this could have been THE solution. If only that big company which had aquiered a lycence would show up with this product. Maybe they are busy creating other 3d-products.
To make it clear, it was on photo-3d-group multiple times: i am speaking of carlo biraghi, the genious italian inventor.
biraghi solved the main autostereoscopic problem: one had to stay in the center of the screen. those 15 people who could overview the 3d-projection could move their heads within 30 cm horizontally. the show was a bit shaky since biraghi didnt know a tripod would help, let alone using a steadycam.
