Samsung has a new 3D projector the A-800?

I don't know if it's DLP or LCD, or HDMI 1.4, I would really like to know but specs and no price have been released yet or as far as I know. All I know is its 720p active. It can also take a 1080p signal.

From the PR linked in the above Ubergizmo post, A800 3D is a 1080p DLP projector and as a business unit it probably costs about $10 000 (only lamp alone costs $500) and uses dual interface for stereo 3D operation.

I find it that very strange, do you think the virtualpressoffice may of made a typo?

As I read somewhere that the projector is 720p active 3d, Samsung make the SP-A800B which is a 1080p 2D projector. But for 3d the best they could do currently is 720p. I can't find the link where I read about it being 720p, I will try looking for it.

This is clearly a 1080p DLP projector, however Samsung really places A-series in the "home theater" category, not business data projection as I said above, so A800 3D might in fact get HDMI 3D inputs. Still, the price tag of $10 000 places it out of reach of most stereo 3D enthusiasts.
