I'm keeping my eye on Hitachi very closely, Don't be surprised if they have a 22 inch Glasses Free 3D tv out by the middle of next year.

Autostereoscopic displays are fine in regards of small devices like cellphones, the nintendo 3ds etc. They may also give other stereosolutions a real boost as well!
I'm not having too high hopes for autostereoscopic tv's in the close future because of the natural physical limitations of the tech.

The viewing angles must be terrible for Auto stereoscopic TVs bigger then 20" inches. I think the biggest one show cased was 19" and it had poor viewing angels .
Nice i found the link.

Ya, terrible viewing angles but still pretty cool. I say 18 months and they will be available to the public.
