Less than 5% separation worth it? (incl FW 171.16)

there are many games that are quite playable w/ 8800 (more games if) w/ low or no texture corruptions if separation is kept very low (0-5%). The image seems better/more natural to me. Pls let me know what you think. Again thanks to this site, I'm able to play some newer games (more than 200 gaming hours) like Oblivion in the best possible visual - stereo w/ for pratically free. (CRTs are among best displays are given away free). Since it works w/ many latest drivers FW 171.16 and Multi Cores, Toggle S-3D (CTL T) is so much fun/no hassles. Much thanks.
