Almost there! I'm sure you'll reach the $65 000 goal. Not so sure about $70 000 though. So there will not be Razer Hydra support if you don't reach the stretch goal?

There are still three days to go. Lots of time for additional funding. Time to branch out and reach for those stretch goals.

Congrats, everyone! I'm super-excited to see you guys succeed and to get to play this game. Bishop, I have to say that the personal approach to your video updates made me feel like I was strapped in and riding the roller coaster next to you. Cheers!

Now all that's left is building the game, which is the easy part, right?

Also, I totally have to agree with Brant on getting them up over their $70k. We can do this.

Pretty much a dead cert that it's going to exceed $70k; with 3 days left, they only need $633 per day to hit it, which is equivalent to their funding on the very slowest days. Kickstarters tend to have a burst at the start and end, so I think everything is good

In fact, I think it's going to be closer to the $90k female avatar target than the $70k hydra target! I'd really like to reach that!

Just a question: With the new Unity Mechanim animation system, is it really needed to redo all animations for the female avatar?

Mecanim's pretty cool, but it's not a magic bullet. It doesn't correct for gender, age, or body language, it just lets you transfer animation curves from one humanoid to another. Some animations will look fine for both genders, some won't, and we'd very much prefer to do it right rather than take shortcuts.

I want the sound in this game to be this (see link) realistic...if possible=)
What is your approach on sound?

I have never tried the rift but this is the most immersed I have been into some media and it's a 240p youtube video.
It's insane!!
You'll need to sit on a chair, headphones on in a silent room with eyes closed.

I think they stated earlier in this post that they wont use binaural sound in this game because of performance issues or something like that.

Let me repost here what I've posted on their last Kickstarter update:

To be honest, I backed this project as a sojourner because I wanted to see VR succeed. I wanted this project to be a statement to major players that yes, people want VR gaming. I didn't have much expectations about the game itself. I mean, what could 3 guys do in such uncharted territory? I just hoped it wouldn't turn out too bad...

I'm f***ing floored right now. The game looks simply amazing. The progress you've made with the Hydra integration since last update alone is mind boggling. The hands, the arms, the ease with which you're able to paint... Not the kind of stuff I thought indies could pull off. Let alone in so little time. It sincerely looks AAA.

You keep thanking us but let me thank you in return. Most devs have tacked on Rift support as a stretch goal or something, but no other studio (that we know of anyway) took the risk you guys took by designing your game for VR from the ground up, and something tells me you would have made this game anyway had you not reached your goal.

To state the obvious, as kick ass as the hardware is, it's useless without proper games. So yeah, thank you for helping the VR dream become a reality!

Hi everyone! I know this is my first post, but I wanted to share this music pitch I sent to the production team. I'm a professional composer for media and when I saw this game I was literally just amazed at how it excited me on many emotional levels. With each new YouTube video they put out we were getting to see more and more stunning visuals, of both vast beauty and dark ambiguity. The adventure and mystery that revolves around this title lead me to write what I thought might be an interesting Main Screen Title theme for when players first open the game. Something to try and capture this uncertainty, but at the same time let their inspiration for adventure be greater than the fear of the unknown. It fades out for protection of my material, but I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to leave any and all honest feedback. Thanks!
