At CES there was speak of mocap coming to the average consumer. I've been looking around for price speculation or something but couldn't find anything. Does anybody have a clue? Or maybe just a guess?
edit: forgot to mention that this is about inertial mocap
edit: does anyone know what type of mocap system this is? http://www.metamotion.com/gypsy/gypsy-m ... rkflow.htm

I vaguely remember something about that as well. Depending on what you need, look into YEI. They sell IMU based mo-cap solutions, and forum member RoadKillGrill is involved with the company (I am not exactly sure in what capacity).

I've seen his stuff, too expensive for my needs >_<
I'm mostly interested in when high quality mocap will be widely available so I can play with other people in VR![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

This http://www.mocapgames.com/iframe/index.html looks rather promising, no word on prices though. It looks like they want to sell it to arcades although their games don't look very impressive

Most recent and cheap full body motion capture systems are based on the Kinect or other optical trackers. Check out iPisoft:
