Fact 1: CliffyB is super excited about the Oculus Rift

Fact 2: Cliffy loves Skyrim and has expressed interest in a Skyrim style game (google it)

Fact 3: Todd Howard (Skyrim lead) has no interested in 3D or VR

Conclusion: Cliffy is going to go make an Oculus compatible Skyrim style game and steal Bethesda's market share.

Its an interesting theory. As far as your other conclusions, well maybe or maybe not.

It would be great to have some industry/graphics big-wigs actually joint Oculus though. Its great to have someone with connections and knowledge on the team.

Sweet! Looks like my wild speculation had some truth to it! Following @therealcliffyb on twitter, I see he has been hopping around the world, visiting all the different game studios. I assumed he was just having fun and planning his next career move. Maybe these visits are also Oculus Rift related?

Everyone keeps talking how the indies are going to be the thing that makes oculus really shine. Maybe he'll be the head of one of those indie groups?
