Display connecttion with lowest Latency

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before. I was reading the Abrash blog http://blogs.valvesoftware.com/abrash/l ... ar-and-vr/ about Latency. And one of the things he mentioned is the transmission method between gfx card and monitor/hmd. I know Displayport is packet based so could be a contender for send the image in the shortest possible time and I have heard rumours about systems that only send delta images.

Does anybody know which of the present system can do things like send images at 120+Hz for a 60Hz display?
Or even if there are any known plans in the future for such features?
