Acer 3D monitor help please ^^

Post by elledin60 »

Okay first post ive done on here and i hope one of you can help

I recently bought an Acer GR235H monitor which is a passive 3d monitor and i think it runs on the Interleaved option

Now my question is most 3d movies i put in my computer or 3d videos i download mostly come out as SBS, is there any way to watch or change these to interleaved?

Ive tried changing in Tri Def and Stereoscopic Player but i still see two images side by side

Hope someone can help

Thanks

:)

You should use the Stereoscopic Player.

Goto:
View->Viewing Method->Row Interlaced.
Then:
View->Preferred Viewing Method->Stereoscopic

If you are using SBS video you might also have to goto:
File->Aspect Ratio->16:9

Hope that helps.

Hi,
Just seen your posts,I have the Acer monitor GR235H with geoforce gtx 460 card,
I tried your settings in the stereoscopic player and it did play some files,but not all,some were still in side by side mode despite which settings I tried,
all the files I was trying were single mkv files,
The tridef software player would not play any of them,maybe some of them are encoded differently even though they are mkv files?,
Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions etc....

It may be a codec issue. Try downloading the K-Lite codec mega-pack.
