Wait, this game is S-3D?

Post by CustomCharacter »

I'm playing on the Free Weekend thing going on with Steam, but I have yet to notice an S-3D option.

I know there's a console code somewhere for it, but it needs sv_cheats to be 1.

That may just be Garry's Mod, though.

I play it using the nvidia drivers (every steam-engine games seems to run with those). It's not possible if you have a graphiccard higher than a 7950 though. If you're having and 8000-series or upwards and running Vista you can use their newest stereodrivers but they unfortunately only supports anaglyph (red/cyan glasses) and the zalman monitor. The IZ3D-driver works too, not completely sure in anaglyph (set the ingame resolution to 1650x1050 if you can). I don't know if the steam engine natively by itself supports S-3d (since you're talking of finding console command) but i don't think they ever had.

cheers

Don't know, but Here's a console command list for valve games and the steam engine. Didn't find any options to enable anaglyph there though.
But still: You can use either IZ3D-drivers or nvidia-drivers for this as above.

Cheers.

I heard of garrys mod. I think I read somewhere it's supporting S-3D in Anaglyph or x-eyed/crosseyed.

I don't think (m)any normal games support S3D - apart from those that are mentioned in this forum already
