Google Street View?

I know you couldn't do 3d... but...

being able to view - street view - in a hmd with head tracking with be really cool.

Trouble is, I looked at the api's and it looks like the interactive part wouldn't work... You CAN manipulate the fov though, so it might work (but with long / slow motion.

but maybe someone could create a filter over a browser... and then hook the head tracker into mouse events?

Or maybe someone at google bought one for some cool android project and is reading this... and could forward this to the group who writes street view and get it working for us?
