I'm glad he seemed to enjoy playing in S3D. BF3 isn't the best game ever for demonstrating stereoscopic gaming because of its inability to simultaneously achieve proper convergence for both the gun and the game world. But that's pretty much the one and only problem. It's a major problem for me, as an S3D enthusiast, but the gamers visiting the booth won't notice and will certainly be impressed. In general, BF3 is a great example of nearly flawless stereoscopic rendering.

In this case, we used the DDD rendering of the game. DDD made special adjustments to their drivers so we could hold the competition, so it's very different from the 3D you get in the game's native form. Still, it would have been even better had we been able to control the guns convergence settings separate from the rest of the scene (this is possible with some games using the DDD drivers).
