I guess that isn't so much cheaper than the price of the single card: $93.81 + $15 s&h, but I just bought one of the single auctions, and it looks like someone just bought the other.
The 8800GS is a better "mainstream" or "non S3D winXP" deal, it comes in around $100 brand new with a rebate, is 65nm G92 (same as 8800GT/GTS 9600GT 256mb/512mb), and the driver support just isn't there for XP. 9600GT is $110 after a rebate at newegg (still have to pay tax and shipping sometimes though)

Steer away from the 64-bit version, you want to DL the 1.9GB DVD ISO for x86 processors. So I can give Vista gaming a go again (last time was a MSDN student copy a year ago, no games out so I re-formatted, didn't know it was a single activation
