Microsoft stated that the would not be porting over DirectX 10 to Windows XP - yet there are some talks that someone [a group?] has already done so.
Is Microsoft lazy or is that individual/group missing something?

the german magazine "gamestar" has tested it and get a dx10 demo work on XP!

I think we all knew that M$ were lying through their teeth when they said that. Im actually surprised that people are surprised.
Anyone remember when they said IE/WMplayer were a core component of windows and could not be removed? Ofcourse it is known now that it can be removed within seconds.
