Can nVidia users use DDD then?
Hi
I am hearing good things about DDD even on the nVidia forums. I am currently a 3D Vision user and understand you can buy the DDD driver which can be used by nVidia hardware.
If this is so:
Is it fairly straight forward to get the two tech's to talk?
Is it a one off payment to DDD or will I have to pay for future driver updates for future game?
Thanks
Andy

DDD has a free trial, so you can just download it and see if it works for you. Once you own it all updates are free.

Does DDD actually work with 3D vision glasses?

I am faily sure someone mentioned you could trick nVidia's hardware into working, then fire up DDD.
<-- moron for not bookmarking!

3D Vision has to be enabled, of course. That's it. If you start the game with TriDef, 3DVision will kick in just like the game had a built-in 3D support.

Thanks guys. I'll give the Tridef drivers a try soon, probably this weekend.

Seems the 14day trial works great with nVidia cards but it will not let me actually authenticate it. Say's my graphics hardware is not supported.

560Ti
It works wonderfully in trial mode so I figured I would throw my money that way. Can't activate however.

Did you maybe buy the AMD HD3D version ($25) and not the normal full version ($50)?

Yep, that is what I did as I did not realize they were two separate products. I had thought that AMD owners simply got a discount and figured I qualified with 4 supported cards. They just don't happen to be in the PC I use with my Oculus. What I downloaded was TriDEF 3D 5.9 giving no indication of there being an AMD specific one so I guess it is all the same software but with different licensing tiers?
